Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Stashify’s website and applications, including the Progressive Web App at app.stashify.co. By using Stashify, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Stashify provides tools to help you organize personal finances, including wallets, budgets, bills, and debt planning. Features may change over time. The service is provided “as is” and as described in the app and on the marketing site.
2. Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Stashify is for informational and organizational purposes only. Nothing in the app or on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Stashify. If you use Stashify on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
4. Your data and account
Stashify is designed to store your financial data locally on your device. Optional cloud sync or sign-in features may be subject to additional terms from identity or sync providers (for example, Google or Firebase). See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Stashify in violation of applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security or usage limits in the software, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
- Use Stashify to transmit malware, scrape or overload systems, or interfere with other users.
6. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stashify is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Stashify or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stashify’s total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim (if any), or (b) zero dollars.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stashify and its contributors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
9. Changes to the service or terms
We may modify the service or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your country of residence.
11. Contact
For questions about these Terms, contact the project via the Stashify GitHub repository or through channels provided in the app.
